Certification Cards
Official American Heart Association certification cards are issued only to students who successfully complete all the requirements for their individual courses. Cards are processed through our AHA approved Training Center and are mailed to each student following course completion. The student is certified as of the date the course is completed.
Course Fee Refunds
Any student requesting a refund of course fees must submit the request to CTS at refund@cprtrainingspecialists.com. Refund requests received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled course start will be honored less a 10% processing fee and the retail cost of materials that were already shipped to the customer. The cost of materials shipped to the customer will be refunded if the materials are returned in salable condition within 30 days of request for a refund at the customer’s expense for shipping. No refunds will be issued for refund requests received within 24 hours prior to the scheduled course or after the scheduled start of the course.
Enrollment in a Wrong Course
Students who have enrolled in the wrong course will be offered one (1) opportunity to enroll in the correct course that is scheduled. Selection of the second scheduled program must occur within 30 days of the originally scheduled course. The cost of the second scheduled program must be of equal or less cost of the initially scheduled program or the cost difference must be paid by the student. Course materials shipped to the student from the original class will be billed to the student. Upon return of course materials within 30 days of the originally scheduled course in a resalable condition, the cost of these materials will be completely refunded to the student. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the student.
Cancellation of a Course
CTS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any scheduled program. Courses may be cancelled or rescheduled for a variety of reasons including low enrollment, inclement weather, disaster, and acts of God, instructor unavailability, and site availability. If a course is canceled, CTS will notify enrolled students of the class within 24 hours of the scheduled class by email or phone. If due to inclement weather, CTS will also post cancellations on this website. All students registered for a course that is canceled will be entitled to a complete refund of all paid course fees less any materials that have been shipped to the student. Upon receipt of course materials within 30 days of the originally scheduled course in a resalable condition, these materials will be completely refunded. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the student. Enrolled students may also elect a transfer into another scheduled program. Selection of the second scheduled program must occur within 30 days of the first program. The cost of the second authorized program must be of equal or less cost of the initially scheduled program or the cost difference must be paid by the student.
